ChatGPT Edu is a specialized version of OpenAI’s ChatGPT tailored for educational institutions. It offers universities and colleges a secure and scalable platform to integrate advanced AI tools into their academic environments. It provides several benefits such as free access to GPT-4o, increased privacy and security, and more.
Steps to Log In
- Go to chatgpt.com
- Click the Login button in the upper right
- In the email field, enter your @csuci.edu (faculty/staff) or @myci.csuci.edu (students) email and click the Continue button.
- Click the Channel Islands button
- You’ll be taken to a CSUCI Sign in screen. Enter your same email address that you entered in step 3.
- Sign into myCI like you normally do
- Once you’re logged in, you’ll be able to confirm that you’re in CSUCI’s ChatGPT EDU account by looking in the lower left corner where it’ll say your name and “Channel Islands Edu.” You’ll also see a CSU Channel Islands logo as the profile image.
